Space2
Space2 offer face-to-face and online arts and wellbeing classes, leading a myriad of activities, programmes and events, aimed at widening participation in the arts. Through using arts in everyday life, we provide people with an opportunity to network, grow in confidence and learn new skills. Much of our work emphasises the importance of wellbeing and reducing isolation, and we offer activities that support people with mental health issues. We also offer classes that support sustainable food growing. We know art supports positive health and wellbeing, connects people and that creative societies are the most productive. That’s why we aim to make art and creativity, and creative resources, accessible and inclusive for all. Please see our website for our latest news, projects and how to get involved: www.space2.org.uk

“It’s been great that we’ve been able to do the [Zoom choir]. It has helped because it’s meant we’ve been able to still see each other, and still sing together, and it’s been great for my mental health.”
“I am really enjoying the classes on Zoom. Half an hour is just the right time for me, for this particular type of exercise. It has really helped me to stay focused in lockdown, as it has given me something to look forward too each week. With the added benefit of staying active and motivated. Besides which, I really enjoy seeing the attendees, the support and energy given by the instructor and her friendly smiling face.”
