‘Natural Textures’ is a series of collective artworks created by members of Arts & Minds and devised by artist Kevin Hickson. During the second lockdown members were sent creative packs of art materials supported by a handout, film, and Zoom workshop to inspire them. Fifty seven pieces were returned and grouped in themes and colours, connecting members at a time of disconnection. They used wax resist and ink to explore the theme of Nature which gave many of them solace during challenging times.
