Ross is a medical artist and printmaker investigating themes of identity and attempting to reconcile the physical and mental aspects of humanity. By describing consciousness and mental health as physical structures he hopes to bridge the gap between mental and physical help with an aim to reduce the stigma surrounding conditions such as depression and anxiety.

 His work involves various printing processes such as lino, screen and mono print. His current project looks into the mental health aspects of amputation through sculpture, examining the different values we place on aesthetics and function as well as mental and physical health.
