Hands Face Space was created in response to government messaging during the pandemic as an exploration of the physical, emotional and social constraints endured. Embroidered circles act as a symbol of the barriers created by the virus and the consequent restrictions imposed upon us whilst the loose threads symbolise the connections that continued to exist between us.
