Love Arts 2017 – tell us your ideas!

The Arts and Minds Network would once again like to invite established and new partners to work with us in creating this year’s Love Arts Festival of arts and mental well-being.
THE ANNUAL LOVE ARTS FESTIVAL WILL RUN THIS YEAR FROM 4 – 18 OCTOBER

Deadline for Submissions is 5pm on Friday 5 May
If you wish to submit a proposal for an event at the festival, please ensure that it has a mental health connection. This year our theme is Journeys, which could include journeys of recovery, life journeys, emotional journeys, journeys of discovery or any other way you wish to interpret the theme. Have a look which option below best describes your event.
1. We would love to hear from you if you are artist or group, with a Leeds based event that takes place within the festival dates and already has funding and a venue
in place.
In the past we have included exhibitions, shows, workshops, gigs, talks, dance, performances and films – have a look at last year’s programme for some examples.
Our festival team will read all submitted proposals and let you know if you have been successful by 4pm on Tuesday 22 May – submit a proposal

2. If your proposal is not confirmed and is still at the ideas stage, we would still like to hear from you, but please do not use the submissions form.
Contact us at hello@loveartsleeds.co.uk and we may be able to link you up with someone who could help or advise you.

The festival team will then collate the information provided by you to create a one stop programme for visitors, all under the umbrella of the Love Arts Leeds Festival

Being included in the festival will provide extra exposure to complement your own promotions, as well as the opportunity to meet and network with other artists and groups. The festival has been running since 2009 and has grown in popularity year on year. We’d love to hear from friends new and old to help us put together another wondrous collection of creative delights!
